Acting Services - Putting the drama into role plays
Role plays are a common choice for the development of employees during training. This approach can be very effective and often there is considered no real alternative to staff 'having a go' in a safe environment. Unfortunately, the very mention of role-plays can strike fear into the heart of many a course participant, which can prove detrimental to the effectiveness of the session as a whole.
As an alternative approach, Trainer Bubble can provide 'Forum Theatre' actors who will act out any given work scenario and then allow the participants to 'direct' them into achieving a preferred result. This technique allows them to learn by watching difficult communication situations replayed and modified until the lesson is learned. Seeing it happen as a third party can remove the 'emotional' aspect of the role-play for the learner and ensure they gain the full learning from the situation.
Of course, there may be times when you would like the participants to interactive with a professionally trained actor who can ensure that they experience a scenario as close to reality as possible. This can easily be arranged and as with all of our services, we will ensure we completely understand the objectives of the session, so that the full benefit from our actors is guaranteed.
